Achievement Camp
Information & Sign Up
Samara helps prevent "summer slide," (the loss of the some information and skills your child learned during the school year) through games and activities, while still providing opportunities for social engagement, exploring their creativity, and have memorable summer adventures.
Pairing arts/crafts, games, and field trips with academic activities, ACHIEVEMENT CAMP is an engaging program for incoming 1st-8th graders. Our Covid-19 conscience, primarily outdoor, classrooms will have a (6:1) student-to-teacher/counselor ratio. We can therefore have a greater ability to individualize tasks to your child's academic needs. We aim to push and encourage your child in academic areas in which he/she is strong, and guide them to more independence in areas in which they have more need.
The summer course is a half-day program from 9:00a.m.-12:30p.m. Five days a week (NO school on Monday, July 5th, so that week is prorated).
FIELD TRIPS: Weeks 1 and 4, we will need parent drivers to help transport children on field trips. Copies of license and insurance will be required for those who volunteer. Due to Covid, children will be required to wear masks in the cars. Weeks 2, 3, and 5, parents/guardians are required to deliver and collect children in their charge to and from field trip locations (9:00-12:30).
