Samara Day School is an alternative school for kids who thrive in smaller settings with an individualized approach to education.  Students at Samara come together from various backgrounds; public, private and home school to learn to manage individual challenges associated with various learning and life challenges while also learning to soar with their strengths.

Who We Serve:

Samara Day School serves students with average to above average intelligence looking for an alternative educational setting. Our student body is compromised of, but not limited to, student's who have/are or struggle with:

  • Homeschooled and looking to transition into a general education setting or are needing partial enrollment for a class.

  • Learning Disabilities, such as, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning disability, etc.

  • High Functioning Autism

  • Experienced bullying

  • School phobia

  • Chronic absenteeism

Youth need the opportunity to explore areas in which they excel, as well as bolster and compensate in areas of challenge. While there is no "cure" for most learning challenges there are academic, social, and compensatory approaches and strategies to help youth become independent and individually successful.

Samara Day School currently serves students from 4th-12th grade and we are in the process of expanding to become a full K-12 school. Publicly funded students on IEP's and 504's will soon be able to apply for publicly funded support while attending Samara. Please look for updates on our website and Facebook.

Samara Learning Center welcomes and encourages diversity. Our services are available to all who need them without regard to ethnic background, race, color, creed, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, national origin, non-disqualifying disability, or religion.
