• Success Tools for Young Artists

  • Empower your creativity with real-world skills in “Success Tools for Young Artists”! This enrichment class is designed to help aspiring young artist (those pursuing art as a career and/or those striving to make art a life-long hobby) develop the practical tools they need to thrive. Students will learn how to budget and plan for art projects, organize their creative ideas, and set achievable goals. The class also covers strategies for pricing artwork, understanding the value of time and materials, and presenting work confidently.

  • A special feature of this class is the opportunity to meet and learn from local art mentors, who will share their experiences, insights in using various mediums, and advice about different art careers. Students are encouraged to bring or share a photograph of their own artwork for personalized feedback and guidance from mentors and peers. Students will gain confidence in managing their art as both a passion and a potential business, while discovering the many paths available in the art world. Perfect for creative kids ready to take their artistic journey to the next level! Materials will be provided for in class activities/examples.
